I haven't posted for quite some time, even though I've written some entries. I've tried to do something complex, well thought out and well researched with factual information but since I don't have the time, take the previous entry as a scathing editorial.

Much has transpired since I last blogged - some good, some bad. My significant other's father died very recently, which has generated a lot of thought on a lot of subjects. This is normally good blogfodder, but I've been either too busy or too down to write anything with any focus. I hope I get a little of that fire back, but right now I'm too down to make the effort. However I am not so down that I can't post some kind of entry to remedy a rather distressing siutation.

If you blog you know that it is free. I am very thankful for this. In order to provide that free service blogger needs to generate revenue, which I totally understand. While we live in an overcommercialized world, and some socialist could conceive on how the US Gov. should be able to provide free blog space to all for no charge, I am glad that Blogger does what it does. In order to generate revenue in order to provide that service Blogger enables advertisers to scan websites and use space at the top for their ads. They porbably use a program in order to match advertisers with blogs in an attempt to appeal to the advertiser's target audience.

Technology is a beautiful thing, but it also has many flaws. There are certain things we humans take for granted. Our brains process things we don't even realize. A computer is only as good as it's programmers/creators/etc. There are things we don't always take into account or take for granted when creating and using technology. This ommision by the users of technology can have an undesired and sometimes counter-productive effect.

A perfect example is the debacle involving this year's BCS - USC somehow manages to be ranked #1 in the coaches poll, but could not play for the BCS championship because of the genuises that prgrammed the BCS computer. The very same computer that was designed to take the uncertainty out of the NCAA Div I Football. The very same computer that was designed to avoid screwing up like having a split chapionship. The very situation we have now. Thank you technology!

And such is the case with the advertising that I have noticed on BMA since I have not posted in the past 2 months. For the life of me I have no idea why ads for bumper stickers touting their support/respect/admiration for our dumbass of a President or recruiting calls for the RNC continue to find it's way onto BMA. I can only guess that it is a computer, and not a human, who has figured that when I post something about why Rush probably won't go to jail, it's not because I don't think he shouldn't go to jail - it's only my way of illustrating the flaws in the justice system on how whites are less likely to go to jail when arrested on a drug conviction. I only care that he either advocates for better treatment and not jail time for drug adicts, or he becomes some bad man's boyfriend for the next 500 years. I'll take either, I don't care which one.

However, instead of complaing about the system, I will do my best to work with the flawed rules of the algorithm that figures out which websites are best suited for those targeted ads. I will not bitch and moan about about the system! I will take into account it's falws and hopefully still get the result I hope for, making it easier for those to find the right forum for their message. So Blogger, Google, and whoever else is out there trolling the web, I hope this proclamation does the trick;

Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks! Bush Sucks!

I will Vote Kerry, Vote Dean, Vote Clark, Vote Gephart, Vote Lieberman (yes even you the granola munching labor supporting lefty you will vote for Joe if he is the nominee). I will vote whomever it takes to get Bush out of the White House. I'd vote McCain if I could! I just want Bush out of office. The worst president in modern times (and quite possibly history) will bring even worse catastrophic consequences for years to come unless if he is re-elected. For the future of this country and the world he needs to be removed from office. The fuck ups Bush & Co. have commited in the past 3 years will haunt us for years to come, but I feel we have a chance to right things if we can fix them in 2004. If he gets in again I have a great feeling of despair for what the future holds.

I hope this will help the good people at blogger get the right ads up at BMA from now on. Have a nice day - and one more thing - Bush Sucks!
